VeneersIn Montrose, Houston, TX
Are you tired of hiding your smile because of stained, chipped, or misaligned teeth? Veneers might be the perfect solution for you. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted from tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front side of your teeth. They are an excellent treatment option for those looking to improve their smile's appearance. Veneers can alter your teeth's color, shape, size, or length to create a more appealing and radiant smile.
They are often made from porcelain or resin composite materials and are permanently bonded to your teeth. With veneers, you can achieve a natural, healthy-looking smile that you'll be proud to show off.

Why Should I Get Veneers?
If you're not confident about your smile, it can affect your self-esteem and the way you interact with others. Veneers can help address a variety of dental issues such as discoloration, worn down teeth, chipped or broken teeth, misaligned teeth, uneven teeth, or gaps between teeth.
They are a popular cosmetic dental treatment because they provide a natural tooth appearance, are stain-resistant, and can make dark teeth appear whiter. Veneers also offer a conservative approach to changing a tooth's color and shape; they generally don't require the extensive shaping prior to the procedure that crowns do, yet offer a stronger, more aesthetic alternative to bonding.

Veneers can last between 7 and 15 years before they need to be replaced.
The Benefits Of Veneers
Improved Aesthetics
Veneers are a quick way to achieve a picture-perfect smile. They can instantly fix staining, chips, gaps, or misshapen teeth. The porcelain mimics the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth, providing you with a stunning, natural-looking smile.
Durability
Compared to other cosmetic treatments, veneers are long-lasting. With proper care, they can last up to 15 years. They are also resistant to stains, so you don't have to worry about them discoloring over time.
Minimal Enamel Removal
Veneers require less enamel removal than crowns or caps. The procedure is also relatively painless, and in some cases, no anesthesia is required. This makes veneers a less invasive and more comfortable treatment option.
The Veneers Treatment Process
Consultation and Treatment Planning
Consultation and Treatment Planning
The first step in getting veneers involves a consultation with Dr. Hailey Patton. She will discuss your aesthetic goals, evaluate your oral health, and determine if veneers are the right option for you. This step may also involve X-rays and impressions of your mouth and teeth.
Preparation
Preparation
In the preparation stage, Dr. Patton will remove about 1/2 millimeter of enamel from your tooth surface, which is nearly equal to the thickness of the veneer to be added. Next, she will make a model or impression of your tooth, which is sent out to a dental laboratory to construct your veneer.
Bonding
Bonding
In the final step, Dr. Patton will temporarily place the veneer on your tooth to examine its fit and color. She will repeatedly remove and trim the veneer to achieve the proper fit; the veneer color can be adjusted with the shade of cement to be used. Once everything looks good, your tooth will be cleaned, polished, and etched for a durable bonding process. The veneer is then cemented to your tooth and a special light beam is used to activate chemicals in the cement, causing it to harden quickly.
